How is shipping cost displayed in CSV channels?

Tradebox reads orders from files that present one item per line, using the Channel Order Number to identify where the lines for each order start and end. This means that for multi-line orders, Tradebox can read shipping in two different ways. If a customer orders two items from you with shipping of £14.99 and £4.99, your order file may display the shipping as the total amount of £19.98, or it may show the individual shipping amounts per item.

The New Sales Channel Wizard lets you choose how shipping will be interpreted by Tradebox, either with the total shipping as duplicated cost across lines or with the individual cost per line. Note that as with the below examples if you’re using duplicated cost shipping, it doesn’t matter whether the shipping cost on the other lines of the order is populated or left blank, as only the first line is read.

This setting can be amended on an existing channel via
Channels > Edit > Import File tab > Total Shipping Cost drop-down.
