In Tradebox One, Amazon fees can be automatically downloaded based on the fortnightly settlement reports that Amazon produce. The option to download fees is found in the Details page of the Amazon channel.
If you are posting your Amazon fees to an accounts package, you also need to fill in the details on the Accounts -> Nominals screen.
When this option is selected and some fees have been downloaded, Amazon Fees will appear as an option in the Reporting drop down list:
Clicking into this will display the settlement reports that have been downloaded.
This displays the Settlement ID, which is the unique number that Amazon give to each settlement report, and the from and to dates which show what period is covered by the settlement report. It also displays the total value of the settlement amount and how much you paid in fees over the two week period. The final three columns, Currency, Channel and Deposit Date show the currency of the fees, the Amazon Marketplace they pertain to, and the date Amazon deposited the funds with you. You can export to excel from this screen but not post to accounts.
Double clicking on any settlement period will give you a summary of the different transaction types within the settlement report.
Tradebox deals with the fees associated with individual orders, which fall under the heading Order Fees; Refunds, which are refunded fees (any order refunds will still need to be processed manually) and 'other transactions.' Other transactions may include reimbursements, or credits and debits for monthly costs.
At the summary level, the 'To Accounts' button becomes active, and this is when the fees can be sent to your accounts. They will appear as either a Bank Payment or a Bank Receipt depending on the type of the transaction. The 'Posted' column will change from False to True when the transaction has been successfully posted, and 'Accounts Ref' will record the transaction number from your accounts package.
If you wish, you can double click on any of the transaction types to see the settlement report in full detail, displaying all of the individual transactions. Amazon fees can only be posted as summaries rather than as individual transactions, so the 'To Accounts' button is inactive when viewing to this level of detail.
