Orders can be refunded in Tradebox One to create a credit note transaction which can be posted to the accounts. To do this, double click on the order in the orders list and select the Refund button. refund.PNG

Refunding an order will create a matching Sales Credit Note entry in the order list, and the turnover will be reduced by the full amount of the order. If you are using Tradebox inventory, the program will assume the stock has been returned and automatically put the items back into stock.

The credit note will then be posted to the accounts. In Sage, you will then either need to manually allocate the credit note, or go through the Customer Refund process depending on whether Tradebox posts payment receipts for you. The credit note will not adjust stock in the accounts, so this would also need to be done manually if required.
